I decided to participate in the 3rd Annual Fayetteville "Run for the Red" Race taking place in downtown this Saturday (22 August).
I signed up for the 5k, as opposed to the 10k because the race doesn't start until 7:30 AM. By that time here, it's already 85 degrees! This pregnant lady doesn't want to be running six miles in that heat!
I hope all who are willing/in town will come participate, if not support! Later in the evening at Festival Park in they'll be a "Rock the Red" concert by Ed McCain and others (we all remember "I'll Be" right?) and lots of food! Tickets are free to race registrants, otherwise you can buy them online or on site. Should be a good time!
